Updates that I couldn't remember yesterday 😁... its free bingo for most of the games then we are having a big prize bingo game to finish at £2 a ticket if you want to play.

Good morning Belles.
This coming Wednesday is our next main meeting and most importantly membership subs have to be paid (£40). If paying by cash please put in an envelope with your name on and give to Hazel or Ann Smith on arrival, or let them know if you have paid by with online banking. It is our annual meeting where we have to vote in our committee and officers for the year. It's a really important meeting in the W.I meeting calendar, as members it is your votes that decide on committee members and the President - all will be explained on the evening. We will also be having bingo and we will be providing sandwiches and cake, along with the usual tea, coffee and squash. If you wish to bring something else to drink please do so. Usual raffle and foodbank items if you wish to contribute but this is voluntary.
Wendy has booked our next meal out to go to the Junction, deposit of £5 is required please, please speak to Wendy or put your name on the form that will be going round,and pay your deposit if you wish to go. Thank you.
I will update this post tomorrow with anything I have forgotten as I am not at home at the moment and forgot to bring my notebook. Have a lovely Sunday, Sarah x

Due to the popularity of our daily knit & natter sessions we're starting a new class up on a Tuesday afternoon. The class will run every Tuesday starting 1st April between 1-3pm.

Hi all, just wanted to pass on the big thank you from the Housing Needs/Domestic Violence team for the handbags and the toiletries donated last week. The team were very touched by the generosity of our members, and I know every item will go to women who need it. Sutton Belles members are so generous ❤️

This month we have a special raffle to raise funds so we can provide a buffet tea for the Annual Meeting night, £2.00 a go and you could win this delightful Easter egg.

Morning Belles, Happy Sunday! This Wednesday (12th March) is our next main meeting which is a Spring Surprise! The competition is anything Bee related so get your thinking caps on 😁.
Usual food bank donations if you can spare an item or two are always gratefully received, and raffle prizes too if you have anything.
The meal for March is at the Snipe and is booked for Monday 24th March at 6.30 pm.
We are also holding an extra raffle to win a delightful Easter egg, and the money raised will be used to pay for a buffet tea at the AGM in April for everyone. Picture of the egg is below, tickets are £2.00 ( as mentioned above the usual raffle will still be taking place).
Any other updates or information before the next meeting will be added to the post or in comments so keep an eye out.

Morning Belles, I will put the main meeting post info on here later today but just want to let you know that where I work we have a Domestic Violence and also temporary accommodation team and they are asking if anyone has a handbag they don't want /use anymore, ( they don't have to be new) so I said I would ask our amazing W.I members. However, I do have to take them home and then get them to work, and I am often on the bus so I can't take hundreds ( I know how generous and kind you all are 😂 but I can take some another time as well). The information and the reason for the bags will be in the comments on this post. Have a lovely day everyone.

Well what can I say. Some of us ladies from Sutton Belles WI went to the new planetarium last night and also the observatory where we had a quick peek at Jupiter and some got a glimpse of the full moon-michelle!
I think most enjoyed it but it wasn’t for me-Wendy as it made me feel so sick with the fast moving animation but that’s just my personal opinion. Please don’t let me put anyone off going. Wasn’t allowed to take photos inside the planetarium but here are a few I could take.###
