Hi all

The 2nd Sutton Sutton Coldfield Scouts have been selected by the Co-op to be one of their chosen local stores charities - this is the blue Co-op. The way it works is that members get the chance to vote on which of these local charities they feel are most deserving and in October 2026 the cause with the most votes will get the greatest share of the fund. We know of Scout Groups that have been fortunate to receive as much as £6,000 from this funding.

The stores we are represented at are Slade Road, Clarence Road and Walsall Wood Road, voting however, is all online via the Co-op members portal.

If you are a member already then please do give us your vote. If you are not then please consider signing up, it doesn't cost anything. Please also get as many family or friends as you can to vote for us - they don't have to use the local stores, simply sign up to become a Co-op member. They never have to use the membership again if they don't want to although there are benefits to being a member if you use the stores.

Well-done to the Hudson Explorer that went on Camp Cockerel this year. Full on weekend of activities and challenges. We won several of the activities and came 3rd overall.
