It was a pleasure to attend the Peace Symposium last night at Mubarak Mosque, Tilford. We were delighted to host Neelam Devesher MBE, Chair of Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum and soon to be His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of from September, as well as the new Mayor of Guildford, Councillor Jane Tyson. We joined several hundred guests, including diplomats, political leaders, MPs, faith leaders from across the UK for a truly wonderful event.

The evening featured an inspiring keynote address by His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, followed by meaningful discussions on the importance of peace, unity, and mutual understanding in today’s world.

We look forward to continuing to strengthen relationships and working together over the coming year.

Our Ash Community Dinner was an extremely successful evening, with almost 130 guests in attendance. We are truly grateful to everyone who joined us — thank you so much for coming and helping make the event so special. We sincerely hope you all enjoyed the evening as much as we did.

Events like this powerfully remind us of the true strength of community — that we share far more in common than what could ever divide us. When we come together, engage in meaningful conversations, and build genuine connections, we break down barriers, foster understanding, and create lasting unity.

Thank you once again for being part of such a memorable evening.

It was a pleasure to attend the Surrey Interfaith Hate Crime meeting last night. The discussion was engaging and constructive, with some excellent action points identified to help strengthen community safety.

It was particularly encouraging to see a shared commitment to stand together against hate in all its forms. We look forward to continued collaboration.

Thank you to Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum for organising such an important and well-facilitated event 👍🏽
