Respect's early response programme, Make a Change, has published its latest impact report!

Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, Make a Change has been able to adapt its programme materials for Neurodivergent participants, making the behaviour change programme and Integrated Support Service for survivors more inclusive and accessible.

Head of Make a Change, Rebecca Vagi said:

"This has been a landmark year for Make a Change. Our latest impact report highlights how we're continuing to innovate in behaviour change work with people causing harm, while ensuring that both our programme and Integrated Support Service remain inclusive, accessible and centred on the needs of adult and child survivors affected by domestic abuse.”

Huge thanks to our delivery partners, Changing Lives, Coventry Haven Women's Aid, Harbour Support Services, Panahghar, Relationships Coventry & Warwickshire, WWIN Specialist Domestic Abuse Services and Right Turn Sunderland for making this impact – none of this would be possible without you!

Thanks also to our strategic partner Women's Aid, and to Susan Dungworth - Northumbria Police & Crime Commissioner and Newcastle City Council for funding this important work.

To end domestic abuse we must address the root cause – the perpetrator. Until we have a comprehensive range of specialist responses in every area, victims’ safety is at risk.

Stopping perpetrators, holding them to account and giving them the chance to change can protect victims.

If you’re concerned about your behaviour, Right Turn can offer you this service – call 0300 124 0466 to speak to one of the team (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm).
