We can’t believe it’s nearly been a week already since our Building Southwick weekend! 🎨

We were so thankful to have Sunderland Council members from Southwick Ward Cllr Jamie Scott, Cllr Jannine Morrow and Cllr Michael Leadbitter, who came along to lend a hand to this project. 👏

We can’t thank you enough for your support throughout this process both behind the scenes and in coming down personally to lend a hand on our Building Southwick DIY days.🌟🫶

A huge thank you to Andrea and the team at Argyle House for this fantastic stationery donation.🩷

It will be put to very good use at Southwick Community Hub, from our holiday camps to our family activities and community groups with Active Families North East CIC.

What a weekend 🎉👏🏻

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone. ✨

From local residents and tradespeople, to the incredible groups and organisations like Leaf and Bean and the lovely ladies from the Green Party, thank you to you all.

We'll never be able to put into words how much everyone's support across this whole project has meant to us. We just hope we can make you all proud by turning this into a thriving community hub, built for the full community.

Everything is looking incredible but there's still jobs to do. If you can spare some time today, pop-in and see us, we're here until 3pm and would really appreciate the help.

DAY TWO - COMPLETE ✅ we may not be able to look at a pot of white paint ever again, but we can’t thank our volunteers enough for all of the help, support and endless energy they’ve given us today. ❤️

This truly a community space, built by the community.

Huge thank you to and bean donating lunch to keep us all going.

We go again tomorrow from 7am and we’d love you to join us!
