Sunderland RA which began in 1906, was started up to help ensure the welfare and education of all its members. Sunderland RA works closely with Durham County Football Association to promote refereeing across all ages and levels. At SRA, we have a good mix of both experienced & newly qualified referees turning up to all of our meetings. The feedback from this has been excellent, here at SRA we alwa

ys have a busy programme lined up for our meetings with some high-profile guest speakers coming along. SRA plays an important role in moulding young officials, while offering advice, support and knowledge throughout their careers. You never know, it could be you taking in part in one of the world’s biggest tournaments.

The funeral of the late Ken Clark (South Durham RA) will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, 21st July 2026, at Stockton Crematorium, Junction Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS19 9NA, in the Maplewood Chapel. Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in, as there is no specific dress code.
After the service, the family would like to invite you to celebrate Ken's life at The Elm Tree Social Club, Bishopton Road West, Stockton-on-Tees, TS19 0QJ.

We are saddened to hear of the sad passing on 6th July of Ken Clark of SE Durham RA (formerly with Stockton RA). Ken was an extremely active man in the local football in the Stockton area and will be sadly missed by all, RIP Ken. 🙏
