Ready for some good news? Aren't we all!? ☺️

📆 Well the date is set, and the venue booked for this year's "Unity in the Community" event - and we'd LOVE for you and your community/voluntary sector group to get involved!

We've moved to August this year (🌞 in hope of warmer weather! 🌞) - so put SATURDAY 15th AUGUST in your diary. Same place as before - inside Sunderland Minster and outside on Minster Park.

Please share, share, share!! And let's get ready to celebrate ALL of the wonderful folks that call Sunderland "home"!! 😍😍😍

All we ask is that nothing is bought or sold on the day - we want the event to be totally FREE and ACCESSIBLE to all!

(We do hope to have a small budget to pay for food ingredients, and a few professional activity providers, so let us know if you need to charge for your services.)

We, who count so many much-loved Iranian Christians amongst our congregation, are holding a prayer vigil for the people of Iran in the Minster at 11am until 12 noon this Wednesday 14th January.

We will light candles and pray that God will spread wings of protection over all who are struggling for justice and peace in this current crisis.

Please come, and invite others if you would like to. People of any faith and none are welcome.
