Me and the incredible Claire, founder of 🦁

This charity is so close to my heart. The guests of honour at their events are life-limited children and their parents, and everything is built around one goal: giving those families a night of pure joy and memories they can hold onto forever.

Last year the theme was Harry Potter, so I became Professor Snape and ran wand training for the kids. This year it was Disney, so I swapped the robes for a Jedi cloak and we had a room full of young Padawans doing lightsaber training ⚔️

Seeing those kids laughing, and seeing their parents watching them laugh, is something that stays with you. It’s emotional in the best and hardest way.

None of it happens without Claire and her amazing team. The work they put in behind the scenes is unbelievable, and every detail is done with so much love and care. They truly are an amazing bunch of people, and I feel lucky to be part of it.

I always say I’m not a children’s entertainer. This is the exception, every single time.

And I know I’m not supposed to have favourite events, but it’s pretty hard to pretend this one isn’t mine.

Thank you Claire, thank you to the whole team, and thank you to the parents for your lovely messages. They meant the world ❤️

We still have spaces for Monday! He’s bringing some new animals so plenty for people to come along and have a see/cuddle 🐰

There is no pressure at all to be with the animals our rainforest and space room will be open as normal for children to play! So come along and have a lovely day with us this half term 🦁

Enormous THANK YOU to Concord for their huge donation of £216. They have had our collection bucket accepting donations and have been selling our trolley tokens and raised a fantastic amount for us, this money will go directly towards our upcoming Parent support events, which are Christmas Doormat crafting and Christmas cake decorating.

If anyone else still has our collection buckets, please get in touch so we can get them collected and raise as much as we can towards snd Christmas support groups. 💛🦁

We can’t wait to see everyone this afternoon 🦁 Everyone is welcome no diagnosis needed! Come along and step into the rainforest, 🌳 fly through the space room 🚀 into the music room to play some tunes 🎶 where else could you get to sit inside a rocket ship? Chill in a tree and play the cello? 🎵 all in one session! 🦁

Our sessions are designed with SEND children and their families in mind, offering a welcoming, inclusive space where every child can explore, play and enjoy themselves at their own pace. 💛

Come along for a cuppa, a chat and plenty of giggles! Everyone is welcome, whether you're a regular face or joining us for the very first time. It's a lovely chance to meet other families, make friends and enjoy some good company. 💛

🌈 Little Explorers | 12:30pm–2pm

In the afternoon, we're back for our fabulous Little Explorers session! 🦁

Even better, this is a fully funded session, meaning tickets are completely FREE!🎉
