This week is Baby Loss Awareness Week.

It’s a time to remember every baby gone too soon, and for us, it’s always a time we think of Louie and the 15 months we had with him.

Losing a child happens in so many different ways. Through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, illness, or suddenly and without warning. No matter their age, they are always someone’s baby, and the grief stays with you forever.

Tomorrow at 7pm, we’ll be joining the Wave of Light hosted by 4Louis and lighting a candle for Louie and every baby who should still be here. We’d love for you to join us. 🕯️✨

Our final running event of the season is almost here! 🏅

Tommy Runs takes place on Sunday 1st November at the Tommy statue in Seaham, starting at 9:30am, with a 5K (ages 11+) and a 10K (ages 15+). Run for Louie’s and you’ll get 25% off your entry!

What a wild weekend for the guys who took part in the GB Ultras Glasgow to Edinburgh event, completing a staggering 57 miles. Huge well done to you all! 🫶

Huge thanks to the SG Petch team, who supported the team by loaning them one of their Chery Tiggo 9 for the weekend to help them on their travels to Scotland and back. They definitely needed that comfort for the way back!

This is the story of Louie's.

Our founders, Addison and Shannon, share what they lived through, why Louie's was founded, who it helps, and what your support means to a charity like ours.

We've gained quite a few new followers recently, so it felt like a great time to share this. It's a good chance for existing followers to learn a bit more about us too, as we're forever changing what we do as a small, yet high impact charity 🫶

Just a heads up, this does contain some imagery and messaging that may be upsetting. We don't usually share things like this, but unfortunately it's the reality of what we faced, and what the families we support can face too.

Some moments deserve celebrating, wherever you are. 🧡

Ruby has been in hospital for a while now, and her Mam and Dad wanted to bring some happiness and joy into their lives. So they decided to renew their wedding vows on the ward, with Ruby right there by their side.

Mam Jess asked for colour, and lots of it! We made sure they had just that: a room filled with beautiful banners and streamers. Our wonderful volunteer Laura baked a beautiful rainbow cake to top it all off. 🌈
