The moment our bunny arrived at ARC Adoption - a blank canvas ready to be decorated with ideas from children and families we work with at ARC Adoption 🐰💙.

We can't wait to share the final design with you, which was brought to life on the rabbit by the very talented Mia Foster, along with some of the children joining us at ARC to help to decorate 🖌️.

This bunny will be on display over the summer as part of the Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne trail, raising money for St Oswald's Hospice 🙏.

We've been holding Early Permanence training for our prospective adopters this week at ARC 🏡.

With Early Permanence, people hoping to adopt are also approved as temporary foster carers, enabling them to provide the earliest possible care to a baby, child or siblings in an Early Permanence placement, who they may go on to adopt if it is decided in court.

While there are uncertainties to consider, Early Permanence offers many benefits for the child as demonstrated in this animation, which is based on the real life experience and words of an adopted young person 💜.

At ARC, we are currently looking for people who can consider an Early Permanence placement, as a potential route to adopting, with full training provided.

ARC Adoption North East is excited to be taking part in the Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne trail in support of St Oswald's Hospice. The trail takes place across summer 2026 and will see individually decorated Peter Rabbit sculptures take over the streets, parks and public spaces of Newcastle and North Tyneside 🐰.

As part of our participation in the art trail, we are aiming to raise £350 to support St Oswald’s Hospice and the work they do in making a real difference to children, adults and families during extremely difficult times. Anything you can spare would be greatly received – whether a donation or through a sponsored activity! We’d be delighted if you could help us ‘bunny hop’ our way towards our target 💙.
