Thanks to CVAA UK for an inspiring and enjoyable couple of days in Edinburgh at their annual conference! It is so valuable to get together with our fellow voluntary adoption agencies to discuss the future of adoption and how we can best support children and families, as well as hear from such insightful speakers sharing their expertise and lived experience of adoption.

This National Adoption Week is a particularly special one for adopters Ikki and Zac, who are celebrating as dads for the first time ❤️.

Since welcoming their son Riley home, they've experienced all the joys, challenges and learning that come with adoption – and have loved watching their family of three grow together 🏡.

ARC Adoption is proud to be taking part in National Adoption Week 🩷.

Thank you to Jack and Miguel for sharing a glimpse into the happy chaos of life since they adopted their two sons 😜.

As part of the Everyday is Everything campaign, families are sharing numbers that mean something to them, and Jack and Miguel's chosen number is 0 - the number of times their children have been ready to leave the house on time for the morning school run ✏️.

From lost shoes to last-minute dashes out the door, it’s these messy, everyday moments that make a family and helps a child feel at home ❤️.

A few snaps from the fantastic Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne Farewell Weekend 👏🐰.

Donna and Colleen loved seeing everyone visit our rabbit, Ohana, along with the rest of the bunnies in the fluffle - as well as chat to people about adoption 🤗.

We are so pleased to have been able to take part in this amazingly creative initiative, involving our adopted children and families in the process - while raising vital awareness and funds for St Oswald's Hospice 💙.

We have Citizens Advice joining us for a coffee morning next week to provide useful information to our adoptive families 💡.

Pop in to ask questions and get advice on a range of things such as access to benefits, grants and funding for white goods, or help with energy bills.

They will also be able to look at 'what if' predictions to help families think about different working scenarios in line with their home life commitments and needs.
