Sunderland Armed Forces Network The SAFN brings together on a local level many of the national, local organisations and agencies that are involved in delivering this type of care.

WWW.SAFN.ORG.UK The network aims to bring together the agencies, support groups and statutory bodies that delivering support to former service personnel in Sunderland. The network is a great source for exchanging information amongst these groups and it has been an invaluable resource for associations and individuals to gain information and support. The SAFN gives local groups a united voice on the

ir concerns and is represented on the North East Regional Armed Forces Network. SAFN have the 15 (North East) Brigade Civil Integration Officer as an advisor who regularly briefs the network on the continual changes in various aspects of care and support as well as MOD initiatives.
