❤️ A BIG UPDATE ON JUDE – WE ARE IN AMERICA! ❤️
We have some very big news to share with everyone who has been following and supporting Jude’s journey.
We are incredibly emotional to finally be able to say that we have arrived safely in Memphis, Tennessee, at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. ❤️
Unfortunately, following Jude’s major heart surgery in July to remove his tumour, we received the devastating news that his cancer had returned.
Despite everything Jude had already been through, the tumour had started growing back inside his heart, close to his mitral valve.
More recently, further scans showed that the tumour was continuing to grow,
Hearing this news was absolutely heartbreaking, especially when Jude looks and feels so well in himself.
Knowing that something so serious is happening inside our boy’s heart, while he carries on being his usual self, is something we cannot even to put into words.
We had been searching for further opinions from specialists at Harley Street in London, but unfortunately, we hadn’t received any further news or progress.
But giving up on Jude was never ever going to be an option ever
We continued contacting hospitals, surgeons, oncologists and specialists all over the world, desperately hoping someone, somewhere, might be able to offer our boy another chance.
There has been non stop emails, phone calls, medical records sent across the world, sleepless nights and so many moments of uncertainty.
And then something happened that gave us hope again…..
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in America responded. ❤️
After reviewing Jude’s case, carrying out further testing and having discussions with their medical team, we received the news we had been desperately hoping and praying for.
ST. JUDE’S HAD ACCEPTED JUDE! ❤️….. I’m in tears writing this it’s just unbelievable
We honestly cannot describe the emotions we felt. After months of being told how incredibly rare and complicated Jude’s cancer is.......
With the tumour continuing to grow and its location being so close to his heart valve, time is incredibly precious, and we knew we needed to get here as soon as possible.
We don’t yet know exactly what lies ahead or what treatment options may be available but having this opportunity means more to us than words could ever explain.
At the moment, we have absolutely no idea how long we will be here in America. It could be weeks, months or even longer, depending on what the doctors decide and what lies ahead for Jude. We have had to leave so much behind at home, including our family and loved ones, but we know this is where we need to be right now.
We are prepared to stay for as long as it takes if it means giving Jude the best possible chance
All we have ever wanted is to give our amazing boy every possible chance.
We also want to say the biggest THANK YOU to every single person who has donated, shared Jude’s story, sent messages, offered help or supported us in any way.
The kindness and generosity we have received has been truly overwhelming. You have helped us through some of the darkest days of our lives, and we will never ever forget it.
We are so incredibly proud of Jude. Despite everything he has faced, he continues to show strength and courage every single day
We are now taking things one day at a time, holding on to hope and praying that this is the beginning of something positive for our boy.
We will continue to update everyone as we learn more.

A new country, a new hospital, a new opportunity and hopefully a new chapter in Jude’s journey.
