You are a breath of fresh air - raw, honest, and real. Thank you for today, it means more than you know and its impact will bring long-lasting transformational change.
🚨 Today I delivered my brand new You, Me & ADHD talk for the very first time at New Beginnings North in Sunderland.
What an incredible provision. They are delivering an EOTAS-style alternative education that genuinely puts young people, families and carers at the heart of everything they do.
No tick boxes. No labels. Just understanding, support and opportunities that help young people thrive.
The purpose of You, Me & ADHD™️ is simple: to educate, empower and inspire. By sharing my own journey alongside evidence-based understanding of ADHD and neurodiversity, I hope to help people feel less alone, better understood and more confident in their own potential. If one conversation changes one life, then it’s worth having.
Today’s session was honest, emotional, authentic and empowering. We explored what ADHD really is, how it can present from childhood through to adulthood, the challenges many people face, and the strengths that often come with neurodivergent minds.
One of the most powerful parts of the day was hearing day-to-day stories directly from parents, carers, professionals and young people themselves. The people living these experiences every day are the real experts, and their voices matter.
Changing lives starts with changing conversations. When people feel heard, understood and supported, positive change becomes possible.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, shared their experiences, asked questions and contributed to such a powerful and constructive discussion.
We had some fantastic discussions around education, support, self-belief and the importance of creating environments where every young person feels understood, valued and able to succeed.
