🎤 Coach Adam: today’s match was a well deserved game we won, i thought you’s all played well today considering the heat and only having one sub, the football we played was probably some of the best i’ve seen all season and it payed off, your attitude today was amazing after going one nill down in the first half to not conceding again in the second and scoring 4

👏 well done to everyone - goal scorers- gabe with an amazing strike 🤨, thomas, blaise and ryley with one of his corner goals again and massive well done to our MOTM once again steven

🙏 thank you’s all for an amazing season we’ve had some ups and downs but over all i’ve seen players progress to be better and the style of football we’ve played has been some of the most entertaining at times, thank you to all players and parents turning up week in and week out

anyways hopefully we get another season 🤞

⚽️ Whitburn Panthers U13 at the STADIUM OF LIGHT ⚽️

Coach mark 🎤: What a fantastic day for our U13s Panthers playing at the Stadium of Light. The boys represented themselves, their families, and the club brilliantly from start to finish.

🥅 Playing on the same pitch as their footballing heroes is something many young players dream of, and it created memories that will last a lifetime.

I would highly recommend it to any team that gets the opportunity. Seeing the smiles on the players' faces made every penny worthwhile.

⚽️ MATCH REPORT 30 MAY U12 Whites ⚽️

Coach Chris: Today was our last game of the season and what a way to finish, winning against a very determined Whickham Fellside who pushed us all the way.

Sometimes it’s not easy playing with an extra player as that creates expectation to win comfortably. We overplayed a little bit at times but once we got on the ball and used the extra player effectively, we played some fantastic football and scored some great goals from Archie (2), Joey (2), Rufus, Cameron and Aran

🏆 Parents’ player of the match went to Archie. He scored two goals today including a volley! Aside from the goals, he was excellent in midfield and helped out in defence too. He made some really good decisions on the ball. Outstanding! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

🏆 Coaches’ player of the match went to Elliott. He was close to winning this on Wednesday and it was great to see Elliott take his confidence into today. His positioning, recovery runs and passes were excellent. A fantastic performance! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

It’s been a challenging season at times moving up a division, but the lads have responded brilliantly. We’ve shown that we can compete with anybody on our day and it’s been great to finish the season strongly. We’ve finished a very respectable 6th place out of 13 which has given us a really good foothold to push on next year towards the top places 💪

🎤 Coach David: Couldn’t be more proud of our U9 Blacks. 😊

♥️ We played Wallsend Boys today (prem nfl) who have won every game in the spring cup normally by a cricket score and we came off with a narrow spirited defeat and we hit the post near the end and created enough chances to even win the game!!

⚽️ U8 WHITES MATCH REPORT 30 MAY ⚽️

🎤 Coach Mark: After a two-week break, the u8s Whites were delighted to be back in action and started brilliantly, leading at half-time despite our opponent playing with an extra player.

✌🏼 In the second half, the focus was on keeping possession and showing respect to our opponents, with regular rotations helping the boys cope with the hot conditions.

⚽️ The game finished with every outfield player scoring and Jack making an excellent save to secure another clean sheet.

🏆 All seven players were voted Man of the Match for a fantastic team performance. Credit to our opponents, who never stopped trying and showed a great attitude throughout.

🎤 Coach Liam: “Some amazing physicality and battling on show to claw it back today! The lads should be very proud of how they conducted themselves today!

❤️ They acted like absolute stars and showed excellent composure in a tough situation! And to top it off we didnt have any subs!!

⚽️ Goals for hunter, oliver and john (tremendous free kicks)
