FREE PARKING… WITH A LITTLE EXTRA FLAIR!

Did you spot our new FREE PARKING covers around town from Saturday?

We thought the parking machine covers deserved a bit of a makeover — and what better way to make the message clear than FREE PARKING in big, bold letters!

The covers were put together by SturAction to help spread the word and highlight that the monthly FREE PARKING is paid for by us — but ultimately made possible thanks to you. ❤️

By donating and spending in our shops, you’re helping us give something back to the town and support the local community.

So, a huge thank you to everyone who shops, spends and supports local.

And of course, a big thank you to Rise & Sign for bringing the idea to life with the new signage! We think they look fantastic!

If you saw them and approved, give this post a 👍 or ❤️!

And if you spotted one, let us know where in the comments!

FREE PARKING. Good for shoppers. Good for businesses. Good for the town.

30 years ago, Stur sounded a whole lot different on a market day...
Next June, we’re marking 30 years since the final gavel fell at the Sturminster Newton Cattle Market—and we need your stories to bring history back to life!
Were you there for the last market in ’97? Got old photos tucked away in an album? A artifact sitting in the shed?
Tag a friend who used to work the market, drop your memories in the comments, or drop us an email at [email protected]!
