Inspired by the life changing teachings and experiences of living in the ashrams of our Gurus, the Queen of Bhakti Team want to share a heart opening gathering on the Jubilee weekend Holiday 2022where we will

'embrace' each other and the values of simplicity, service and devotion. Tensions between friends, sickness of a loved one, a global disaster, war and injustice. The path of Bhakti Yoga is not about escaping from these challenges but instead about meeting them with courage. There are many real world examples of spiritual leaders who meet injustice, exploitation and oppression with courage and humility - holding powerful people accountable for their actions whilst building bridges with them. Desmond Tutu and Tich Nath Hanh walked this walk working with the 'enemy' in compassionate and life changing ways. In a small way, these gatherings help us to embody the skills that are needed to face the inevitable ups and downs of life . By bowing down in reverence to a deity, we practice humility. Humility is liberation. It's admitting to ourselves and others that we don't have all the answers, that we are willing to learn and to listen, willing to be wrong, willing to tolerate difference, willing to challenge each other to be better and humble enough to look in our own hearts. This gathering, we will invoke the qualities of goddess Maa Saraswati, who is known to bring order out of chaos and has a calming and centring personality. The name Saraswati stems from the Sanskrit root "saras," which means "that which is fluid." Saraswati helps us to channel the qualities of curiosity, creativity and openness. These gatherings are meaningless without you! Together, we bring out the best in ourselves and each other through simple practices and community living. Please join us....

🌿 Only 2 weeks to go before we gather at the Babaji Nature Ashram! 🪷

On Saturday 13th June, we warmly invite you to join us on the Babaji Nature Ashram land near Glastonbury.

We'll gather for kirtan, share a vegetarian lunch, enjoy chai together, and spend time in the peaceful surroundings of the land, with beautiful views towards Glastonbury Tor. Whether you'd like to sing, connect with others, enjoy nature, you're very welcome.

This land is being created as a place for community, connection, and time spent in nature, and every person who comes helps bring that vision to life. Your presence genuinely matters. We hope this gathering will be the beginning of many years of shared celebrations, friendships, and community on the land, and we would love for you to be part of it.

Our friends at All Love Kirtan are organising a beautiful gathering in London on the 7th of June, and we’d love to share it with you all 🪷

ALL LOVE is a 12-hour kirtan and chanting celebration in aid of Crisis, bringing together over 40 kirtan leaders and musicians for a full day of music, devotion, community, and connection.

Holly Hood and other musicians from this year’s Beltane Bhakti Gathering will also be part of the day ✨

The gathering closes with kirtan by Radhika Das and supports the important work Crisis does helping people facing homelessness across the UK.

Still gently landing after this year’s Beltane Bhakti Gathering 💗

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create such a beautiful, loving, and sincere atmosphere throughout the weekend. Every chant, conversation, dance, prayer, and shared cup of chai became part of something very special.

We feel deeply grateful to all the musicians, workshop leaders, volunteers, the UK Babaji family, and the team at The Leela Centre for helping hold the gathering with so much care and devotion.

Over the coming days we’ll be sharing more photos and videos from the weekend here on our page. And if you weren’t able to make it this year, we hope you can still enjoy some of the beauty through what’s shared — and hopefully join us next time 💫

After months of preparation, tomorrow we finally come together ❤️

The gathering is now nearly sold out, with only a few weekend tickets and final day tickets remaining. If you’ve been thinking of coming, this is your last chance.

🚐 Please do not arrive with a campervan unless you have booked a campervan space!

A glimpse into the spaces that are on offer at the Bhakti Gathering this May...

Workshops that invite you into the body, into connection and into the quiet places where something real begins to move.

With Lilavati Rose, offering a Beltane Goddess Journey rooted in devotion, remembrance and the living presence of the sacred feminine.

With Ben Eydmann and Devamurti, opening pathways into embodied inquiry, authentic relating and the subtle language of connection.

With Jan Day, bringing her depth and warmth to the exploration of communication and intimacy.

With Maite, Marieke Meulenbeld and Shaku Burrel, offering spaces of yoga in its many expressions from flowing movement and deep rest to breath, sound and shared laughter.

Each space different in flavour, yet all part of the same unfolding.

A chance to arrive more fully in yourself, and alongside others.
