Come down to Portland for a special little Bhakti gathering.

We'll have kirtan with Madhava, Shambo & Veda, Tino & Tara and more, a delicious meal cooked by Shambo, a Trishul puja, fire ceremony and time to walk and enjoy the Dorset coast.

🌊 Seaside Bhakti Celebrations | Portland, Dorset | 30–31 October 🔱

As the days grow shorter and autumn settles in, we’re gathering by the sea for a special evening of kirtan, puja and Vedic fire ceremony.

If you feel like making a little half-term pilgrimage to the Dorset coast, we’d love to welcome you. Come for the Friday evening, or stay overnight and spend more time together in community.

🪷 Kirtan Picnic — Saturday 12th September 🌿

In just under three weeks, we’ll be coming together again on the Babaji Nature Ashram land for another beautiful day of kirtan, nature, shared food and community. 💛 After the wonderful gathering we shared in June, we’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone back — and hopefully seeing some new faces too.

As the seasons change, it’s easy to feel like staying cosy indoors. But there’s something special about coming together at this time of year — sharing food, singing kirtan, spending time in nature and enjoying each other’s company. 💛

Our hearts are also with the people of Nepal, and with everyone affected by the difficult events unfolding there. May there be peace, protection and support for all those impacted.

Afterwards, we’ll be taking down the marquee — so if you can stay and lend a hand, even for half an hour, we’d be incredibly grateful. Many hands make light work! 🙏

It’s been a long time since our last post, but we have lots of beautiful things coming up over the next few months! Here’s a little overview:

🌳 12 September — Kirtan Picnic
Join us on the Babaji Nature Ashram land near Glastonbury for a simple day of kirtan, nature, food and community.
🕥 10:30–14:30

🎶 10 October — Sulekh Ruparell, Stroud
We’re helping to organise and support this special event with Sulekh Ruparell in Stroud. The afternoon will include a Raga Singing Workshop from 2–5pm, exploring Ragas and their connection to Kirtan and Mantra, followed by an evening of traditional Indian Kirtan from 7–8:30pm with Sulekh and the Kirtan Band.

⛪ 24 October — Church Kirtan, Glastonbury
A beautiful Kirtan held by the UK Babaji Family at St Benedict’s Church in Glastonbury at 6pm. No booking needed

A beautiful weekend of kirtan, community, a communication workshop with Jan Day, Vedic fire ceremony, Trishul Puja and time by the sea✨

🌿 Tomorrow morning! (Sunday 21st June)

Join us on the land for a relaxed yoga session with Harsha in celebration of International Yoga Day.

A lovely way to start your Sunday, enjoy the warm weather, and take a moment to reset before the week ahead. No experience needed — just bring a yoga mat and a water bottle.

The session is donation-based, and simply by coming along you're helping this land slowly grow into a community space for everyone.

Dear Bhakti Family, 🙏🏼🤍

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our first public gathering on the Babaji Nature Ashram land. It was a beautiful day of community, joy, and connection — singing together, sharing food, enjoying the sunshine, and simply being together on the land.

Seeing people of all ages gathering in this way felt very special, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make the day what it was. We hope this will be the first of many gatherings, as the land continues to grow and gradually welcomes more and more people.

If you couldn't make it this time, please know you were missed, and that there will be many more opportunities to join us in the future.
