We're looking for a full-time Trading Assistant to join our team at Good Small Farms on the edge of Stroud.

This is a varied and exciting role, encompassing all aspects of organising, packing, delivering, and selling our top quality, organic farm produce.

Your core responsibility will be managing seasonal produce from our various farm enterprises and readying it for our four primary sales channels: the farm shop, local farmers markets, veg boxes, and wholesale.

You will also be the face of the farm, selling our delicious produce at Stroud Farmers Market on a Saturday.

This role is an ideal entry point for someone looking to transition into regenerative agriculture, especially those with transferable skills from the hospitality sector.

The twist? We are looking for a Community Builder FIRST, and a gardener second 🤝✨

If you have a zest for engaging hard-to-reach communities, bags of empathy, and a few innovative ideas up your sleeve to get neighbours talking, laughing, and planting together, we want YOU. Basic growing know-how is brilliant, but your passion for people is what matters to us most!

The Details: Approx. 10-12 hours per month ( we can be flexible, but a regular session one afternoon a week is key) from May to October. Paid role (self-employed/contractor)

The Impact: Massive. You’ll be supporting our lovely volunteers, shaping our green spaces, and making a real difference
