How lucky are we to have such a wonderful community supporting our events!

Eastcombe Gnome Hunt x Stroud Bowl
Over the weekend, we sent Shae Milner off to Eastcombe with a Ball, some pins, a PowerPoint, and a dream... To change the perception of Bowling and highlight the work Stroud Bowl is doing in the community, we would say it was a great success.

Thanks to , Fee and many other spectacular people who made this such an enjoyable experience, and we hoped you enjoyed the village hall being turned into a makeshift bowling lane for a few hours!

If you're a local primary school and want some help from Stroud Bowl 'the home of British Bowling, then drop us an email and we can either help with raffle prizes or like this, come along and engage with people directly!

Forget the Grand National this afternoon as tomorrow is the most important sporting event of the weekend, our Eastcombe Marathon! Mr King and Mrs Fowles are resting up today, carb loading and preparing mentally for their challenge tomorrow…18 laps of our village (26.2 miles) to raise funds for the school. They have got within touching distance of £2000, can we help them reach this target? Every pound raised will go towards playground development enabling all

April 6th 2025, Mr King and Mrs Fowles are doing something very special to raise funds for Eastcombe Primary School. Myself & Mr King both work at Eastcombe Primary School. This is a tiny school and funds from the local authority are very hard to obtain in order to give the children the best school experience that we can. In April, we will be running a marathon by completing laps of the village of Eastcombe to try and raise some of these much needed funds for the incredible children we work with.

Delighted to announce that once again we have the pleasure of offering our very popular guess the weight of the cake game. With a movie themed cake made by the wonderful Juls Cakes.
We are still blown away by her incredible cake made for last years event.
Do check out her Facebook, especially as she is running a competition in the run up to Easter!
And we look forward to seeing this years creation, make sure you come and guess the weight. Who doesn’t want a nice cup of tea and a slice of deliciousness after an adventure finding Gnomes.
