Don’t replace it—repair it together! 🛠️🧵
All across the country, time banks are breathing new life into our communities through local Repair Cafés. From stitching up worn clothing and mending household appliances to fixing shoes and tinkering with electronics, these sessions are all about keeping things out of landfill while sharing invaluable practical skills.
No money changes hands—just tools, expertise, and a lot of community spirit over a cup of tea. ☕💛
The brilliant snapshots above capture the action from Sutton Time Bank , where local volunteers and neighbours are turning resourcefulness into a social event.
📅 Mark your calendars: If you're local to the area, Sutton's next Repair Café is coming up on 28th November—so start digging out those items that need a second chance!
