Old School, Quoyloo

Old School, Quoyloo The Old School in Quoyloo is a great venue for a small event. For bookings please phone Graham and Kathie Brown on 01856 841 390.

For other enquiries please send us a direct message via Facebook or email [email protected]. The Old School comfortably holds 60 people and we offer very reasonable rates for hiring. We have a kitchen, toilets and air-source heating. There is a stage area in the main hall. To find us: there are two old schools in Quoyloo, the Victorian school is now Orkney Brewery - that's not us! We are the older Old School further up the hill on the left.

*****UPDATE - only 7 chairs left - when they’re gone, they’re gone!****

Come and help yourself to a bit of the Old School! These plastic chairs are surplus to requirements. They need a good clean but they are sturdy and solid - and FREE!!

The chairs are stacked up outside the hall - 38 in total. Please help yourselves to as many or a few as you want - FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ IT’S A SIGN! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We are delighted to install our brand new stone sign, marking the entrance to the Old School, Quoyloo!

The stone was carved and painted by local stonemason and committee member Ross Kennedy, and installed by Ross and committee member Ian Linklater. Massive thanks to them both!

And huge thanks are also due to Voluntary Action Orkney who made the work possible through their Small Grants award.

Now everyone will be able to find us on 1 and 2 August for the Book Sale 📚📚📚

Many thanks to the fabulously clever folk who came to the Quoyloo Quiz at the Old School tonight! A splendid time was had by all, and we say goodbye to quizzes for a while as we take our summer break.
