Orkney Arts Society is a registered Scottish charity and is run by a full committee of volunteers.

It organises a winter programme of music, literature, drama and visual arts events from September through to the following April.

This is not an OAS event, but you might like to know that the Stromness Poetry Club will be holding an Open Mic afternoon at the Vintage Paper Co., Stromness Coffee & Print Works, The Old Bank, Stromness on Saturday 14th February between 3pm and 5pm. This is a free event.

This is not an OAS event, but you might like to know that there will be an exhibition The 12 Days of Christmas Illustrations by Karen Tweed in the windows of the Northlight Gallery, Stromness between Thur 29 Jan and Tue 17 Feb.
