1st Strichen Rainbows We meet every Thursday during term time from 6-7pm, for girls age 5-7. Leaders: Hilary Winter, Kirsty Dickson
Youngs Leaders: Ellie & Isla

Rainbows is a section of girl guides for girls aged five to seven

Rainbows is all about developing self-confidence, building friendships, learning new things and having fun. Girls get their hands dirty with arts and crafts, trying out cooking and playing games. Rainbows is all about learning by doing. Rainbows follow a programme called the Rainbow Jigsaw, through which they can take part in lots of different activities with girls their own age.

We were delighted to attend a special screening of Frozen 2, organised by Girlguiding Banff & Buchan, at the Victoria Hall in Ellon - thanks to those that organised it. The Rainbows did us proud and everyone had a great time.

Our unit bear, Charlie, enjoyed his first cinema experience - here he is modelling the badge everyone went home with.

We were getting into the festive spirit tonight, with our melted snowmen decorations!
