The space is intended to help local residents have somewhere to come to help enhance their health and wellbeing, whether that be simply sitting and contemplating or helping create something pleasing to look at and enjoy. At time of writing on July 30th 2022 we don't have all the answers as to how this will all happen but know that there are people in the village prepared to help others who can and
will offer support, help, plants, ideas, skills for the benefit of all. For those that may be in a dark place do reach out. We'd love to find a way to get you involved. There will be something that you can help with. The plan is that 2022 will see us create a "blank canvas" with the space that was set aside for the garden. This translates to cutting down all the w**ds and grasses, fruit tree runners, blackberry runners etc. Then adding and levelling a large amount of topsoil. Having been ploughed we will then leave to settle for a month or so before rotivating the entire site and levelling by rake before grass seeding in September. This should give us something we can then mow. 2023 will then see the design evolve. We will need some financial help and at this time are considering various options as to what type or entity will be best for us. We thank everyone who has offered help.
