StrathPetal 2026 organising team would like to thank EVERYONE - garden owners; volunteers; the stallholders; raffle prize donors; speakers; the bakers; the plant and seedling donors; the spa pavilion; local newspapers; Facebook groups; Ross-shire Flower Club; the GQT panellists; sponsors (the Mackenzie New York Villa Trust and those who have supported StrathPetal formerly), and most of all those who came along on Saturday - it's people that make an event - so THANK YOU for coming!
We'll be publishing the total raised soon + plus the charities that will benefit + a short video of the day.
Meanwhile - there are still a number of plates and tins belonging to bakers that need to be repatriated. They're at Sandra Fleming's house - White Lodge in the square, so do call in to retrieve yours! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

There's a great panel lined up for Gardeners' Question Time at Strathpeffer's great garden event on Saturday 6 June.

We've got Will Soos from world-famous garden 2 Durnamuck: Finlay Keiller from Seeds of Scotland, award-winning gardener Rosanna Clegg from Aultgowrie and Margaret Davidson from Abriachan Nursery, who explains here what you can expect from her 😂 Horticultural facts and fun in prospect.

StrathPetal runs from 10am until 4pm in the centre of the village. It's £5pp entry, under 12s free. Gardeners' Question Time starts at 2pm, and you'll find the full programme here www.strathpetal.co.uk/news

In amongst all the plants, there will also be the opportunity to buy some fascinating local history at StrathPetal on Saturday (6 June).

Arthur Scott will have all three volumes of his historic accounts of the village from 1770 until 1920, while Mike Blow will also be selling historic postcards and maps etc of Strathpeffer and the Highlands.

It's a tad wet ATM but thank goodness this is an indoor/outdoor event - we're covered!

Would you like a monkey puzzle tree? We'll have nearly 50 of them on sale at Strathpeffer Spa Pavilion on Saturday (6 June, 10am - 4pm).
All at various sizes and prices from £10 to £95.
And vendors are inviting bids for this one - with all proceeds going to StrathPetal's village projects and the charity GoFlourish.
So wherever you live and whether you can come to StrathPetal 2026 or not - get your bid in!

There'll be live music in the village square during StrathPetal on Saturday, 6 June (10am-4pm).
As well as revelling in our garden event programme (www.strathpetal.co.uk/news), you'll be tapping your toes and enjoying the service of our great local cafes and the event's home-baking and teas.
Returning by popular demand are the Travelling Wrinklies (see video), as well at The Station Road Soundtrack + Dougie Burns and the Cadillacs!

Just a week to go until StrathPetal 2026, and here is our final video preview of the six gardens that will be open in the village centre.
