DIABETES UK DONATION 💙

A few weeks ago, members of the Chapelton Agricultural Show Society Committee had the pleasure of meeting Fiona, a representative from Diabetes UK, to present a cheque following months of dedicated fundraising.

We are incredibly proud to share that a total of £10,000 was raised and donated to this important cause!!

This achievement was made possible through three key events:

🎄 December – Our annual Charity Christmas Tractor Run lit up the local community with a fantastic festive display.

🤍 January – Following the passing of Jim Clark, donation buckets at his funeral allowed friends and family to contribute in his memory. Jim was a deeply respected and much-loved figure in the agricultural community, and supporting this charity in his honour meant a great deal.

🍻 Andy Baillie’s Sponsor Day – A wonderful day where friends and customers came together, with further donations collected.

This contribution goes far beyond the financial impact. Diabetes UK is a cause that resonates deeply within our community, affecting many of our members and their families. Chapelton Show is proud to support their work and help raise awareness.

🚜🎄CHRISTMAS TRACTOR RUN🎄🚜

The Chapelton Agricultural Show Committee would like to say a massive thank you to every single person who took part, helped, donated or came out to watch out charity road run on Sunday night!!

Once again, this was a roaring success with a total of 53 well lit vehicles taking part🤩

Between entry money and bucket donations from the streets of Strathaven, Sandford, Stonehouse, Glassford and Chapelton we are pleased to announce that our total, so far, is sitting at…

what a night!!🚜🎄

with 53 tractors, trucks, vans, buggy’s and even sleighs, we had a brilliant night from start to finish🤩

Massive thank you to every person who came out to watch our tractors as they made their way around the route tonight - the weather didn’t quite hold out but it definitely didn’t dampen the spirits☺️
