Today the day for Get In Warwickshire festival of scouting to begin. As a District we have volunteers attending from every group in the district and young people attending from Squirrels to Explorer scouts. Let the fun begin.

📣📣Celebrating one of our amazing leaders 📣📣
Kim is a beaver leader at our newest group Meon Vale Scout Group She will be running the London marathon. This will be her 5th marathon, and 2nd London marathon. Kim says ' I can confirm that they do not get any easier! It’s also just over 6 months since I was discharged from hospital with viral encephalitis. It’s been hard work getting my fitness back, but I’ve been determined to come back stronger and hopefully inspired others in the process.' she is fundraising for Hospitality Action and is still looking to raise funds for this amazing charity.

We celebrate St George’s Day because Baden-Powell chose St George to be the patron saint of Scouts. He wanted St George’s Day to be a time to reflect on the Scout Promise and what it means to be a Scout.
