A local appeal, supporting Guide Dogs for the Blind, by raising money in the Stratford area to name puppies after Shakespeare characters. Launched to coincide with the annual birthday celebrations, the challenge is to raise the money by 2015. Stratford Town Council will be delighted to invite the Shakespeare Puppies to the Birthday

Celebrations in 2016. Schools need to raise £2,500; businesses, groups or individuals £5,000, to name their very own Shakespeare puppy. Groups can join together and there is a general fund for public donations. Each group will be given chance to meet the puppy, and will receive updates, reports and photographs for the first year.
