Thank you to all the children who joined us in our fully booked Easter sessions this year. We had 56 individual children over our four sessions.

Special thanks to Stranraer Community Events Group who provided us with lots of arts and crafts materials, prizes for winners and snacks for all participants!

We hope you all had a lovely Easter break and enjoy the last few days before school is back 😊

🐣Easter holiday sessions🐣

Easter holidays are fast approaching!!

Wednesday 1st April - Agnew Park (games in the park)
Thursday 2nd April - Ryan Centre (Easter crafts)
Wednesday 8th April - Agnew Park
Thursday 9th April - Agnew Park

Sessions will cost £2 per session
Sessions will run from 10am-12pm
Sessions are limited and will be issued on a fair basis
Please send a drink

Message the page with preferred day choices and we will message everyone back by Wednesday 18th March confirming spaces.

On behalf of YMCA Stranraer and Stranraer and Rhins Young Farmers we would like to say a huge thank you to Stranraer and Surrounding Villages for their continued support, putting your pennies in our collection cans.

A special thanks to
🎅🏼Santas little helpers who counted all the money and made sure Santa replied to over 700!! Letters
🎅🏼Stranraer Community Events Group and Sally at Tesco for their donation of envelopes, stickers and paper
🎅🏼Steven Sloan for the storage of our float in the town, all the farms that stored the float during the first week and Mr McColm for storing our float
🎅🏼Carrs Billington for the use of the tractor
🎅🏼All tractor drivers
🎅🏼Our Santa's for sitting up in the chimney freezing and soaking(!!)
🎅🏼The kind people that provide hot drinks and snacks on route
🎅🏼The 140+ volunteers who gave up their time to do the collection each night!

The Santa Float is a massive community event and without the contribution of each and every person involved it would not be able to run, Thank you all again!! ❤️❤️ Here's to next year!

All Funds collected will be given out beginning of 2026, look out for post with more information 👍🎅🏻

The panto is on in the Ryan centre, so the car park will be extra busy tonight at pick up.
