Find support, make connections and discover what’s available in your community
Looking for support, advice or ways to connect with your local community? Our Community Marketplaces is coming next week to Portpatrick and everyone is welcome.
Discover the range of local support available to help you and your family stay healthy, connected, supported and well.
There’s no need to book. Just turn up between 11am and 3pm.
You’ll have the chance to:
• Meet local organisations and services offering health, wellbeing, social care and community support
• Find out what’s available near you and get help finding the right support for your needs
• Ask questions and get advice from people who can point you in the right direction
• Discover opportunities to get involved and connect with your local community
Whether you’re looking for support yourself, helping a family member or friend, or simply want to find out more about what’s available locally, come along and see what’s on offer.

We have had the best time this summer!
Great weather, great activities and even greater children!

Thank you to all the boys and girls who have attended whether it was 1 session or all 15, us staff have thoroughly enjoyed our summer programme!

It was our Orlas last day today as she heads off to the academy next week…..I’m sure she won’t be a stranger! Smash it Orla ❤️

Day 13,14&15 - 12th, 13th & 14th August 2026

This weeks theme - Food

Gillian and her daughter Aleeah treated us this week to homemade crepes and pancakes!! The children enjoyed this sweet treat on Wednesday and Thursday and today we had fruit and yogurt donated to us from the Fed Up Cafe.

We had some fun in the park and on the beach and we also played some group games.

This weeks theme - Library

This week we had great fun in our local library….the children done scavenger hunts, book bingo, arts and crafts, Lego building and reading 📚

Thank you to the library for having us and organising the activities for the children ❤️

Sent to all parents - but just putting this here incase we forgot anyone.

Due to Agnew Park being so busy and for the safety of the children we have decided to change the drop off and collection point for Thursday and Friday sessions.

Please drop your child off at the breastwork car park (where the shows normally go) at 10am and pick up from the same place at 12pm.

We will meet at the far end of the car park, closest to Agnew park.

We are back ❤️

This week is library week 😊

We will be walking to the library and back again, if you are booked in to our sessions this week please make sure you have a jacket as the weather is slightly unpredictable ☔️🌦️

We will be leaving Agnew park at 10.10, please make sure drop off is 10am sharp to allow us to sign in all the children and set off on time.

☀️ Summer sessions ☀️

Day 9 - 24th July 2026

This weeks theme - Park

Today we headed to the park first as it was quieter, back inside for a piece of fruit and a drink then out to the grass area of the park for some fun races then split in to two teams for some duck duck goose 😊

We are off next week, see you all on the 5th August for library week 😊
