Share Your Experience - We Want to Hear From You

As part of our work to help Stranraer and the Rhins become a more climate-ready community, we're gathering local experiences of environmental change and extreme weather events.

Have you witnessed or been affected by:

🌧️ Flooding
🔥 Wildfires
🌊 Coastal erosion
🌬️ Storm damage to roads, buildings or infrastructure
🌳 Fallen trees or damage to local greenspaces

We'd love to hear:

📍 Where did it happen?
📅 When did it occur?
🔄 Was it a one-off event, something that happens regularly, or has it become more frequent over the years?
What do you think could be done to prevent, reduce or better respond to these impacts in the future?

Your local knowledge is incredibly valuable and will help us understand how climate change is affecting communities across Stranraer and the Rhins.

If you have any photographs of flooding, erosion, storm damage, wildfires or other environmental impacts, please share them in the comments or send them to us.
