The Table, Straiton Going since covid lockdown in 2020, we've put the remaining produce from our Farmers' Market stall out on a table. Everyone wins. 😊

The principle is simple, people pay what they can afford and all profits go to Mary's Meals.

Morning all. Last weekend of Summer then Meteorological Autumn starts on Tuesday....yikes! The Table is out with a good range:

Maris Pipers, dirty carrots, heritage carrots, turnips, leeks, brown onions, red onions, curly kale, cavalo nero, white cabbage, Savoy cabbage, red cabbage, sping onions, sweet potatoes, courgettes, Scotch vine tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, mushrooms, breakfast mushrooms, raspberries, strawberries, Delivard Estival apples, jumbo garlic and fresh ginger.

There's also a range of stacking baskets to help yourself to.

We got a tray of damsons as we are always being asked if and when we can get them. We managed to get some at the market and if anyone wants some we have some, about 2.5kg. They will cost £4/500g. Let us know if you want any before Alison targets it for damson and port jam.

As we are holiday from markets this weekend we won't have the Table out on Sunday. Definitely worth visiting the Farmers' Market in Ayr this Saturday run by Ayrshire Farmers Market though, although we wont be there this week.

Ayrshire tatties, dirty carrots, bunched carrots, brown onions, red onions, celery, beetroots, sweet potatoes, white cabbage, curly kale, pea pods, courgettes, spring onions, Scotch vine tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, yellow vine tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, rhubarb, mushrooms, breakfast mushrooms, jumbo garlic, fresh ginger and free range eggs.

There's also some marigolds still, which were kindly donated by a local.
