Coinciding with International Women's Day (8th March 2026), this event aims to engage with local Women & Girls to recognise and celebrate their contribution whilst seeking their views on how we can work together to build a safer community for Women & Girls

The young people have been fantastic all year, keeping SECA staff and youth leaders on their toes in the best way. We couldn’t ask for a better group, and we’re already looking forward to welcoming you all back in 2026.

⏰ Hours - 16 hours per week

This role involves reception duties, financial processing, record keeping & supporting internal and external communications.

Essential Criteria -
⭐ Previous experience in administration
⭐ Experience working within the community and voluntary sector (Desireable)
⭐ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
⭐ Good organisational and time-management skills
⭐ Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
⭐ Proficiency in basic IT systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, databases)
⭐ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

✨Diwali Evening Celebration: A Fantastic Success!✨

We’re excited to share that our Diwali evening celebration was a fantastic success! The hall looked incredible, decked out in vibrant decorations that really captured the festive spirit. A huge thank you to everyone who pitched in to make this event so special!

Thank you to Mayor Ruairi McHugh for your attendance and helping us celebrate Diwali.

Big shoutout to all our volunteers, whose creativity lit up the space with colorful lights and fun decor. For dressing our models and for making sure they lookedTusk Takeaway making sure everyone got served food. Your hard work truly made a difference!

We also want to thank Tusk Takeaway for providing the delicious food. The variety of dishes was a real treat, giving us all a taste of the rich culture we were celebrating together.

A special thanks to St Patricks Hall for being the perfect venue as usual for our festivities. We couldn’t have done it without your support!

Let’s not forget Cllr Jason Barr, our amazing MC, who brought his usual flair and energy to the event! You always know how to keep the crowd entertained, and we appreciate it!

To our wonderful performers who brought the evening to life with their talent. Your performances added a wonderful touch to the festivities, making the night even more enjoyable for everyone.

And of course, a huge round of applause for all our fashionistas who rocked the catwalk in their stunning Indian clothing. You brought so much fun and excitement to the evening!
