We were delighted to receive funding from the recent Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme to help us improve energy efficiency within our buildings.

Step one has commenced with improved and more efficient lighting. For all you people in getting costumes or working with the costumes/sewing we have no doubt that you will bring seeing the improvements already!!

Thanks to Andy Brown for his work, to Rapid for their support and to our funders.

Recently we told you about our Local Legends project…. Well we think it’s time we shared the results of the project!!

These ladies worked so hard, under great mentorship through a 6 week photography course and have a look at the results, see what you think of the final product 🤩

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council have asked us to invite you to The Unfinished Broadside, a special showcase production taking place at The Ardhowen Theatre, Enniskillen, on Tuesday 13 October 2026, from 7:30pm to 9:00pm 🌟🙂

Presented by our guid freens Bready & District Ulster Scots Development Association, the production is part of the Communities NI USA-NI 250 programme, celebrating the key role played by Ulster-Scots / Scotch-Irish in the Declaration of Independence and the formation of the United States of America 🇺🇸

The Unfinished Broadside tells the inspiring story of John Dunlap, the Ulster-born printer of the Declaration of Independence, through an engaging blend of drama, music, song and dance. The original musical play, written by Jonathan Burges, explores the significant contribution of Ulster-Scots to this key moment in world history 💙

The production also provides an opportunity for local performers and Ulster-Scots musical groups to participate, helping to strengthen community involvement and celebrating our wonderful Ulster-Scots heritage.
