Nyota Ing'arayo Charitable Trust - UK Nyota Ing'arayo is a school in the poor Kongowea district of Mombasa. The Trust helps to maintain the school's facilities and to fund it's feeding program.

It also supports parents who cannot otherwise afford to send their children to school. So thrilled that Lucy Kasee, the first girl Nyota Charitable Trust has sponsored throughout her secondary education (thanks to the generosity of the Mead family and their friends in memory of their daughter Lauren who died so young) has now enrolled at Kenyatta University in Nairobi to study Public Policy and Administration. Onwards and upwards Lucy 👍👏 🙏

One of the brighter pupils at Nyota school, Shaphus Khasimwa, had been suffering with badly infected fingers since the end of December and was in constant pain, but his family could not afford the necessary medical treatment. Nyota Ing'arayo Charitable Trust - UK was happy to arrange his treatment at Premier Hospital in Nyali, and today he is smiling again.
