Stourport, we need a Changing Places facility, any forward planning to enhance our town and increase visitors should be considering it. Ask yourself, if you were a wheelchair user, or in need of personal care to retain a level of dignity, how would you manage ?.

Today marks a significant milestone in the fight for Changing Places toilets - Changing Places Toilet Awareness Day, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Changing Places toilet campaign.

For a quarter of a century, campaigners and the Changing Places toilet consortium have been working tirelessly to raise awareness and campaign for more of these life-changing facilities for disabled people, their families, and their carers.

We are delighted to announce the new registration of a Changing Places Toilet at Northampton South Services on the M1.

This facility has been installed thanks to funding from the Department for Transport and Roadchef, working in association with Muscular Dystrophy UK . It was great for us to meet and chat with staff on site and to hand over their plaque. Thank you all!

The motorway network in England has recently become more accessible due to 54 new Changing Places toilets being installed thanks to grant funding from the Department for Transport in association with Muscular Dystrophy UK.
