Lye Community Clean-Up tomorrow!

Join us for a quick hour of power to give back to our local area, meet some fantastic neighbours, and enjoy the fresh air.

Just bring yourself, your family, your friends, and your neighbours! We will provide all the equipment you need.

Schools out for summer, yay! 🥳☀️

I know we might not want to think about back to school already, but get the uniform sorted early so you can relax for the rest of the summer! 😎🎒 Let's work together to reuse great clothes, cut down on waste, and help each other out. 🌍💚

If your kids have outgrown their clothes, please donate your clean, good-condition, pre-loved uniforms during our drop-off week. 👇

We had such a lovely chat this morning with some wonderful people from Friends of Wollescote Park and Friends of Lye Library who have been planting and caring for the beautiful flowers in the planters outside Lye Library

We sat down together to dream up some exciting ideas to freshen up the outdoor space around Lye Library. 🌿

We want this to be a true team effort. Our dream is to create lots of fun ways for you to help us design, build, and look after this green space. Working together is a great way to build local pride, boost our mental and physical health, and simply enjoy hanging out in nature with neighbours.

Whether you want to volunteer or just share your ideas, everyone is welcome!

Lye Community Litter Pick -Sunday 14th June

We had a smaller turnout than usual for today’s Lye community litter pick but we still managed to clear over 13kg of rubbish from our streets! 💪✨

Every bag collected means a cleaner, safer, and greener environment for everyone. More than that, it proves that when we come together, we build a stronger community.

As Margaret Mead beautifully said: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."🗣️

We know we aren’t the only ones! Lots of amazing people across Lye do their bit to help clean up Lye. We want to celebrate you!
