With the FIFA World Cup about to kick off ⚽ Faith Focus celebrated being part of a global community this month, with all its joys, opportunities and challenges. We were delighted to welcome our Worship & Media Manager, Franco Alani, as he shared with us something of his life back in Argentina 🇦🇷 and the amazing story of how his grandfather heard about Jesus from an English missionary! To hear the much-loved hymn ‘How Great Thou Art’ sung in Spanish was a moving and wonderful moment for us all too! Hugh, on behalf of Open Doors, then raised our awareness of our Christian family around the world who face danger and persecution because of their faith. 13 countries from the World Watch List (the list of the 50 most dangerous countries to be a Christian) are participating in the World Cup and we were all given the opportunity to draw one of these countries – to follow their progress through the tournament but more importantly, to keep them in our prayers! 🙏

Working from home and missing the community aspect of an office? Look no further!
On Friday ACC will be open for ‘Work from church’, 9am-4pm. There will be tables in the main hall and a break for lunch together 12-1pm.
Open to students to study, employees, self employed... It is primarily for work and we will attempt to make a space for everyone with different levels of concentration needs. Bring delicious coffee/tea and maybe an extension lead! 💻
