Dear resident,
We are writing as concerned members of Bobbington Village Hall Committee regarding the potential closure of our village hall. This building has been a cornerstone of our community life since 1947 providing a vital space for local groups, events, and residents of all ages to come together. The hall was originally funded by public subscription, this means it is owned by the village and run by a committee.

The village hall is more than just a building - it is where we hold celebrations, meetings, charity fundraisers, exercise classes, and social events that strengthen the bonds between neighbours. It is also a vital resource for Corbett School PE lessons and events. Losing it would mean losing an essential part of our village's identity and a place that fosters inclusion, connection, and belonging.

We understand that maintaining such facilities requires resources, which are currently extremely low, but we believe that with community involvement and creative planning, we can find ways to keep the hall open and thriving. We would greatly appreciate your support in exploring solutions - whether through funding, helping, or guidance - to ensure this valuable space continues to serve our village for years to come. We have several nights of fun and entertainment planned, but this will need village support and folks to attend such events. If you can help in any way, no matter how small, we would be extremely grateful. We are also applying for grants, if anyone can help with this, please let us know.

We would like to invite you to our next meeting 'SAVE OUR VILLAGE HALL' Wednesday 7th January 2026, 7:30pm at Bobbington Village Hall. You don't have to join the committee, there are lots of ways you could help.
