Tidying up and cleaning today, last planter dug out and compost replaced.
Next time we start taking out the begonias-followed by replacing that compost! That’s going to be a huge job.

Redhouse Boutique Pub, you have patiently waited for us to make a start on the planters. Waitrose had donated us some plants and the rain has brought a few back to life. So we were able to put new compost in and make it look nice again. The money you donated will be used for Autumn planting of perennials. The second planter will be done too.

Thank you to Andy Johnson of Johnson Bloom for coming in his own time from his busy working week- to cut the wildflower beds by the Old Library.
I’m sorry if it was noisy and disturbed someone nearby.
This was done today because it was a free time for our kind Andy. It was early because it had to be done before the public were passing by. This will not be a regular occurrence.

All the Bloom team send their thoughts to everyone who has been affected by the fires. We are very grateful to our emergency services for all they have done and are still doing. Just very sad.
