Well done Lindsay 👏

After spotting a call for volunteers on social media, Lindsey went to speak to Donald at The Failte Centre to find out more about how she could get involved. She has now been volunteering for the past four months and enjoying every minute of it.
Her tasks include helping to set tables, serving food to the diners and making all feel welcome
“I really enjoy volunteering,” says Lindsey. “It can be hard work, but everyone is so supportive and it is great fun”

Donald, The Failte Centre manager, adds, “It is important for us to offer a safe space where people in the community feel supported. Lindsay has truly become part of the team. She is reliable and it is great to see her confidence improve.

Volunteer Centre staff know Lindsay from when she was doing her Saltire Awards. She achieved over 100 hours through her previous volunteering.

"Well done Lindsay, keep up the great work"
