Young Musicians Hebrides Based in Stornoway, we are developing new opportunities to extend music making for children and adults throughout the Western Isles.

s for young people. Established in 1995 as a children’s orchestra, since 2002 we have been running projects to build a team of local tutors to teach a range of instruments and activities.

It is very sad that Young Musicians Hebrides has finally closed. It has been a tremendous adventure bringing music to so many people. There are many happy memories, but it is now time to move on and let the next generation take over. Thanks to everyone who has played a part over the years. We will miss you.

Robin Colvill returns with a new programme: Popular Piano Classics Encore! Composers to include Handel, Pachelbel, Mozart, Chopin, Sibelius, Rachmaninov, Gershwin. With Latin American Tangos, Monti’s Czardas and Variations on The Lambeth Walk. All introduced in his inimitable style.
