Grow and Bake Event with the Hebridean Baker 👨‍🍳🪴

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar’s Western Isles Learning Shop and NHS Western Isles are delighted to promote a special online event with the Hebridean Baker and Peter MacQueen on Monday 24 August at 2:00pm

Join Coinneach and Peter as they share the simple pleasures of growing your own food and using homegrown ingredients in the kitchen. Peter will offer practical advice on growing vegetables in small spaces, before the Hebridean Baker demonstrates how these fresh, seasonal ingredients can be transformed into a delicious recipe

Following positive feedback, yoga will be returning at Raebhat for an additional 5 week block. Louise from Stress Monkey Solutions will be leading the classes and no prior experience is required. All ages and abilities welcome.

Our Coffee Morning is on the move!

Going forward, our regular coffee mornings are going to be held in the courtyard at Ionad Na Seann Sgoil -Shawbost

Income from the Honesty Box will be reinvested into the Horshader Community Growing Project

With the school going back this week, our first investment will be for some new equipment for the children ahead of their weekly lessons resuming 🪴
