Could you help our girls to play in their first 7’s tournament? Stornoway Rugby Football Club women’s team is looking for player sponsors to help them head away to their first 7’s tournament later in the year! These girls work hard and train in rain, wind and sleet and deserve to put all that hard work into practice! Go on girls!!!

Well we’re excited about this one…👀

Over the last few years our women’s team unfortunately have not been in a position to enter their regional league which has been hard for the remaining dedicated few that train week in week out. Not enough players for the league but did someone say 7s?🤔

This year Stornoway women will be travelling to compete in some 7s tournaments across Caley North for the first time in Stornoway women’s history ‼️

This opportunity gives our women something to look forward to and to finally play as Stornoway for the first time in 2 years 🏉

This exciting opportunity also opens up the chance for YOU to sponsor one of our players for their 7s season. We are looking for businesses or individuals who want to show their support to the rebuild of women’s rugby in Stornoway!

Thank you to everyone who came along to the seniors Burns Supper today! I hope you all had a lovely afternoon! Huge thanks have to go to Stornoway Sea Angling Club for kindly letting us use their venue and kitchen and giving us a wee dram! To both the big coop Co-op Macaulay Road and the wee coop -opCromwellStreet, and to Tesco Stornoway In The Community for the generous donations towards our ingredients! To my merry band of volunteers, whom without this wouldn’t have gone ahead! To the Stornoway south councillors who kindly gave from their ward funds to pay for this to happen. And finally to Joshua Morrison Piper and the wonderful R Doig Opticians who addressed our haggis and wowed us with his singing voice! Thank you again to you all!
