What amazing support we have available in the Western Isles!

For over three decades, Tighean Innse Gall has worked to improve housing conditions and tackle fuel poverty across the Western Isles.

As we mark this milestone, we're delighted to shed light on our partnership with the wonderful Macmillan Benefits Service. Over the past two years, this work has helped 154 people affected by cancer across the islands, providing support such as insulation, heating, household appliances and energy vouchers.

one person we supported told us: “I never would have thought I would receive so much help and support at this difficult time.”

This statement reflects what our partnership set out to achieve: a robust service that gets help to those who need it quickly, at the point they need it most.

We are holding our AGM on Thursday 24th September from 5.30pm at the WICCI Centre in Stornoway with options available for those who wish to join virtually (get in touch for more details).
The AGM is open to anyone, but we would encourage you to become a member to vote on any issues relating to the charity - our membership form is below, just get in touch if you need to know any more information.
We will be publishing our meeting papers soon.
