Laxdale Community Association The LCA, Staff and Volunteers maintain the Laxdale Hall for the benefit of the community. We also fundraise to support activities for local people to enjoy.

🕰️ 6.00pm - 7.30pm Friday nights
🟠 P1 - P4 Fortnightly (term-time) from 14th August 2026
🟡 P5 - P7 Fortnightly (term-time) from 21st August 2026

This is a Part-time Youth Worker and parent/carer led Youth Club, families can choose which Friday per Term they can do
*the club needs 3 volunteers per week to go ahead*

Community Association and local and national funders support the club with toys, games, snacks, sports equipment, admin support, utilities and maintenance for the hall facility.

We ended this year's on a high with the Laxdale Little's group Coffee Morning, Car Wash and Bric a Brac sale. Over £800 was raised, ensuring there'll be new toys for the kids coming soon ❤️ We also bid farewell to our Youth Club P7s with a Persuit Hebrides Zorb party thanks to the H.I.T Project 🎉. We hope you come back one day to Volunteer kids 🤩

We wish to sincerely thank all Youth Club, Chess Club, Social Seniors, and general event Volunteers throughout the year for the time, effort, skills and support they give to the community 🌟

Our next meeting is Tuesday 4th August at 7pm at the hall - see you there to plan whats next?💡

We are looking for donations of bric a brac for our upcoming Coffee Morning.

Items such as ornaments, books, toys, kitchenware, puzzles, gift items and household items would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept clothing donations at this time.

We are pleased to announce we are holding a Coffee Morning & Bric'a'Brac sale at the Laxdale Hall to help towards the running costs & purchase new equipment for our Laxdale Littles, Social Seniors, Chess Club and Youth Clubs ❤️
We rely on our community to make these events possible so if you can help with baking, volunteering to set up/ tidy up or to serve on the day let us know by messaging the page directly 🤩
