SFWI Story! 🥳

As it’s been a while, we thought it would be lovely to share another SFWI story! 😃

A Mum and her family moved to a new community in Lewis and were referred to us so Mum could have a friend come alongside her as they adapted and re-settled. 🏠 ☺️

Mum was matched with an amazing volunteer who she got along with instantly. 🙋🏼‍♀️
They went for coffees, walks and took Mum’s youngest child to the park. 🛝
The volunteer also had Mum over for coffees at their house 🏠 ☕️

Mum loved having this time with her volunteer/ friend as it was a chance to share how she was really doing and feeling, and how her and her family were adjusting to the move. ☺️

Over-time, Mum built a lovely community of other Mums and joined new groups. 😃

Support with SFWI ended, but Mum and her volunteer remain in touch to this day, with Mum being so thankful for their support, as they were a friend for Mum when she most needed them. ☺️👐🏻

We have been so mindful of Caleb and his family, and we continue to hold them in our thoughts and prayers 🙏🏻❤️

We’ve been so mindful of everyone returning to nursery & school! 😃👏🏻

We hope everyone had a wonderful first two days last week, especially those starting Nursery, Primary School and Secondary School! 🥳
