In between punctures this week we did have some very successful trips out with Bethesda Carehome and Bremner Court residents ♥️
We also had the pleasure of taking out a special lady on her 97th birthday. She used to work in Murdo Maclean's so it was lovely taking her for a spin past the old building ♥️

They say that "not all superheroes wear capes". Well our CWAS Superhero is undeniably Tom Paton!

Apart from being one of our most reliable and enthusiastic volunteers, if anything is broken or needs sorted, Tom will quickly and quietly fix it before anyone else has even begun to think about a solution!

Never were his handyman skills and quick thinking needed more than last Thursday though when our trishaw 'Delilah' got not only one, but two punctures while we were out for our weekly spin with some residents from Bremner Court!!

Tom, of course, took it all in his stride by fixing both tyres and following it up by ordering all necessary parts needed to get 'Delilah' back on the road. When the parts arrive, we have no doubt that Tom will go down and fix them , without saying a word to anyone.

Fortunately our two passengers thoroughly enjoyed their 'adventure' and will gladly come out with us again 😄

Thank you to all our volunteers involved in Thursday's escapade but especially to Tom, we are so grateful for all you do!! 🤩🤩🤩
