We're proud to launch our new LGBTQIA+ Support & Signposting page on the Sunflowers website.

This is part of our ongoing commitment to making sure there are no barriers to accessing support. We believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, valued and supported, and we're continually working to ensure our services are inclusive and welcoming to all members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Alongside this, we've also launched our new Pride Collection in our online shop, featuring colourful lanyards and wristbands. Every purchase helps us continue this important work, supporting our commitment to inclusion and helping us provide support to those who need it most.

Together, we can create a community where everyone knows they're not alone.

We are really looking forward to our upcoming Go Karting session with children who are being supported/previously been supported by Sunflowers.

Behind every statistic is a person, a family, a friend and a community.

The latest ONS figures show that 6,162 deaths by su***de were registered in England and Wales in 2025.

The su***de rate remains significantly higher among men, at 17.5 deaths per 100,000 compared with 5.5 among women.

Among males, the highest age-specific rate was for those aged 50 to 54, at 28.0 per 100,000.

Among females, the highest rate was for those aged 45 to 49, at 7.7 per 100,000.

These numbers help us understand the wider picture, but they can never capture the individual lives, experiences and grief behind them.

At Sunflowers, we remain committed to supporting people on their journey through grief after losing a loved one to su***de and helping to build communities where nobody has to face su***de bereavement alone.

What an incredible evening! 🌻

A heartfelt thank you to Jessica and everyone at CAB (Council for Aluminium in Building) for welcoming Sunflowers to your Gala Dinner and selecting us as your chosen charity.

We loved having the opportunity to share our work and connect with guests.

Thanks to your generosity, an outstanding £3,813 was raised through donations, the prize draw and silent auction.

We are so grateful for your support and for the warm welcome we received. Together, you're helping to ensure that nobody in Gloucestershire has to face su***de bereavement alone.

These amazing young ladies decided, entirely on their own, to organise a bake sale in support of Sunflowers and raise awareness of our work. Not only did they put in all the hard work of planning, baking and selling their delicious treats, but they also raised an incredible £165 for our charity.

To make it even more special, they came to visit us in person to present their donation, and we couldn't have been more touched!

Your kindness, generosity and community spirit are truly inspiring. Every pound raised will help us continue supporting those affected by su***de and working towards a future where fewer lives are lost and Gloucestershire is a su***de safer place.

Thank you for choosing Sunflowers and for showing that small acts of kindness can make a huge difference.

Last night, we hosted our AGM here at Sunflowers HQ. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on everything we have achieved together and look ahead to the future of Sunflowers. It was fantastic to see so many of our trustees, staff members, volunteers, supporters and wider Sunflowers community come together for the evening.

A huge thank you to our guest speakers, Sarah, Dave and Adrian Graham, taking the time to share the incredible work they are doing and the ways they are supporting Sunflowers in working towards our mission and vision. Your passion, commitment and partnership are helping us make a real difference in our communities.

We would also like to thank our CEO, Chloe, for her dedication to Sunflowers and the team and the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to drive Sunflowers forward every day.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us. Your support, encouragement and belief in what we do continues to help us grow and reach more people who need us.
