It is used by people of all ages, local groups and an abundance of wildlife. The Den is a very unique local park - it's not owned or maintained by Aberdeenshire council but is 'owned' by the Auchenblae Parks Committee; the upkeep and maintenance of the Den wouldn't be possible without the help of our fabulous (volunteers and employees) of the Parks Committee. Lots of jobs go on behind the scenes t
o ensure the park is safe for all, clean and tidy. The grassy areas are regularly mowed throughout the summer season, play equipment is checked on a regular basis and during the summer season, when the toilets are open, the toilets are cleaned on a daily basis. There are two play parks that cater for young children and older children; plenty of space to explore and run around either on your own or with dogs. And if you're very observant you may just notice our new residents of the Den have moved in, the fairies (but ssshh, it's a secret...) Please do your bit to help us by cleaning up after yourselves at the end of your visit - there are plenty of litter bins dotted around the Den. If you have had a fantastic time at the Den why not leave a secure donation at one of the 2 donation points at the Den - one is situated at the car park and the other is at our lovely Pavilion.
