We need help !

07/07/2026

On Saturday 11th we will be repairing the paths on Newpool Meadows with the stone kindly donated by Chells Builders merchants Biddulph.

10.00 am start we need volunteers to help spread and rake the stone.

If you are coming and could possibly bring a rake, spade or wheel barrow it would help a lot.

Please wear sensible shoes, gloves and yellow vest if you possibly can and bring a drink along too.
It’s going to be a warm day so sunscreen and a hat would be a good idea.

Can you message me if you are able to assist even if for a short time?
Many people use the meadows, this work will improve paths for all.
It needs doing to prevent slips and falls when the ground is wet.
This will be an on going project when we can obtain more funding or donations

Thank you in anticipation

This is an appeal for help that we
Are desperate for.
Chells builder merchants have donated 10ton of stone to repair the paths
We need some strong people to wheel the stone
To various areas on the path.
At the moment I’ve only 2 older gentleman who can do a little.

The meadow is so well used and the paths are becoming a hazard when wet.

Please please will someone come and help
and if you own a barrow and rake bring it along
My phone is

It would be a shame to have to tell Chells we can’t accept it.

Thanking you in anticipation it will only be for a short time just to move it from where it’s tipped.
